Live birth rates for women under 35 are 50-58%, comparable to leading US clinics (SART data). The lab uses the same equipment (embryoscope, laser-assisted hatching, vitrification) as Western clinics.
Under current Chinese law, IVF is available to heterosexual married couples with medical indication. A valid marriage certificate (authenticated/apostilled and translated into Chinese) is required. Single women and same-sex couples are unfortunately not eligible under current regulations. We can discuss alternative destinations if this applies to you.
First trip: 14-18 days (ovarian stimulation → egg retrieval). You then fly home. Waiting period: 4-8 weeks at home (embryo culture + genetic testing). Second trip: 5-6 days (frozen embryo transfer). If doing PGT-A, you can leave right after egg retrieval and return only for the transfer. Total time away from home: about 3 weeks across 2 trips.
Yes. Recent test results (AMH within 6 months, semen analysis within 3 months, infectious disease panel, etc.) can be used for the initial assessment. We'll help you understand which tests you need before traveling. Some baseline tests will be repeated at Luohu Hospital on your first visit.
